A research scientist at Canada's national particle and nuclear physics lab is calling on the federal government to look into ways of delivering radioactive medical isotopes without the need for nuclear reactors. Alternatives include particle accelerator technology or moving to more PET scans. Both are more reliable as well as environmentally sound
