With the economy reeling, the recession threatening to turn into a depression, the Dow in the toilet, the national debt at record levels, joblessness and foreclosures spiking . . . I for one am glad that a senior member of the Senate Finance Committee (as well as Taxation and Judiciary, among other committees) is focused on what really matters.
